PRESENTATION
The "High Five for Nature" project was born more than two years ago, when four schools from Europe didn’t yet know each other, but shared the same concern: to educate their students and actively involve them in taking care of and respecting our planet.
Among the different objectives pursued by the project, the following stand out:
1. To reduce the students' carbon footprint
2. To promote learning about sustainable practices.
3. To transform educational institutions into starting points for environmental campaigns.

International Clean Air Day
Celebrating International Day of Clean Air in schools is essential for several reasons that impact both students and the educational community as a whole:
1. Raising early awareness about the environment
- Children and young people are the future of our society, and educating them from an early age about the importance of clean air fosters a more conscious and committed generation regarding environmental care.
2. Promoting healthy habits
- Clean air is directly linked to respiratory and overall health. Teaching students about the effects of air pollution can inspire them to adopt practices such as walking, cycling, or planting trees.
3. Connecting with global issues
- This day provides an opportunity to discuss global problems such as climate change, global warming, and pollutant emissions, helping students understand their role in protecting the planet..
4. Fostering values and social responsibility
- Celebrating this day reinforces values like respect for the environment, empathy for others, and the responsibility to care for natural resources for future generations.
5. Impacting families and communities
- What students learn at school often extends to their homes. Celebrating this day can motivate families to reflect on how they can contribute to improving air quality, such as reducing vehicle use or supporting environmental policies.
In summary, celebrating this day in schools not only educates and raises awareness but also inspires action, building a culture of care and respect for the environment that benefits everyone.
